Climate action is a cornerstone of the strategy.
IFFCO’s Climate Roadmap outlines seven strategic action areas, including decarbonising operations, transitioning to renewable energy, electrifying fleets, advancing circular economy solutions, and building climate resilience. Recognising that 97% of our emissions lie in Scope 3, we prioritise supplier engagement, from improving traceability to co-developing low-carbon practices and products. We actively seek partnerships to accelerate climate solutions across our value chain, and we’ve begun integrating climate risks and opportunities into our Enterprise Risk Management Framework to ensure our business remains resilient and future-ready.
Protecting water and forests is central to IFFCO’s sustainability strategy, because these natural resources are essential to the region’s we operate in and source from, environment, and the wellbeing of communities.
We are committed to sourcing raw materials responsibly through deforestation- and conversion-free (DCF) practices, ensuring that ecosystems remain intact and continue to serve as vital carbon sinks. Our Forest 2030 Strategy focuses on verified sourcing of palm, soy, and wheat, supported by certifications, satellite monitoring, and supplier engagement. We work closely with partners to build capacity and traceability, helping suppliers transition to sustainable land use and regenerative agriculture. In parallel, our Water Policy promotes stewardship across all operations, with a focus on efficiency, recycling, and resilience, especially in water-stressed regions.
